Revenue, team and headcount have more than 2.5x'd every single year. THE ROLE Sitting at the intersection of engineering, customer outcomes and business strategy. One day you are writing code, the next you are with a client turning a pain point into a deployed feature. - Design and implement solutions in the core product that align with client needs: fixing bugs, shipping features, solving the most critical problems customers face - Partner directly with customers: building relationships with subject matter experts, users and executives - Translate ambiguous problem statements into requirements, specs and realistic timelines, with no product requirements handed to you - Support the launch of new practices for large customers: integrations, features for new workflows, real time deployments based on customer signal - Work with sales, product and engineering, feeding customer insight back into the roadmap WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Same technical bar and same interview process as their Senior Software Engineer role. What changes is the motivation and the communication. - 5+ years in full stack or backend engineering, with some flexibility for a genuinely strong mid level candidate - You are motivated by customer outcomes and customer facing work - You can break down a complex technical problem for a non technical stakeholder. This is heavily evaluated - CS degree or similar technical degree - Modern stack: Python, TypeScript, GCP, Go, SQL, REST APIs. Strong CS fundamentals - You write your own code. Coding interviews are live and unassisted - Clear upward trajectory, promotions rather than lateral moves - Startup experience somewhere in your background is required (Series A to E) - Tenure: at least one long run of three to four years - Prior forward deployed or customer facing engineering experience is a strong plus - Experience with third party integrations or AI/ML automation is a plus NOT A FIT Microsoft-stack or Apple-only backgrounds. This is a hard requirement, the team is concentrated there and no relocation support is offered. US citizens, green card holders, TN or E3 visas only.
