Software Engineer, Compute Infrastructure - Remote US/Canada

Cloud platform for developers (well-funded, ~150 people, remote across the US and Canada) is hiring a Software Engineer on its Compute Infrastructure team. Senior and Staff levels open. Missions: - Build and operate the multi-tenant compute layer that runs customer workloads - Own production Kubernetes clusters across multiple clouds, including on-call - Write custom Kubernetes controllers and operators in Go - Work on workload isolation and low-level Linux/container internals Profile: - Strong production Kubernetes experience at scale - Go in production - Knowledge of sandboxing / microVMs (Firecracker, gVisor) and eBPF is a big plus - Based in the US or Canada, North American experience preferred
